I am planning on using mason jars for my centerpiece with water and river rock on the bottom, and a daisy flower floating in it. I am using the mason jars because we have a whole closet full and thats much cheaper than buying new glass bowls. I am just confused on what else to put around it. Just the mason jar would be very simple, what I'm looking for, but also very empty. The tables will be bigger and not the usual 4 to a table. Does anyone have any ideas for what else to put around it?

You can have votive candles or tea lights around it. The glow will be beautiful
Place the entire piece on mirrors as well. This gives the centerpiece a shape and the mirror sort of enlarges things. Scattered daisies will be a lovely add as well. But dressing up the table is not all in the centerpiece. The color of the linens can add to the decor as well. Table settings also makes it beautiful. Even if it is simply putting a daisy head in a napkin at everyone's place. I also saw on a tv show where a planner took ribbon in the wedding colors and used it as a table runner. This is a good idea because it sort of stretches out the centerpiece. You can also get colored paper, put ribbon around the edge, and put them under the jars. Hope these things help.
