There are hundreds of daddy/daughter songs out there, several father/son songs (why does "daddy" become "father" when the gender of the child changes?), and even a few mother/daughter songs, but in 23 years of avid music listening, I have yet to find a good mother/son song. My fiancé freely admits that he has the musical knowledge of a Pringle, so if you ladies (and gents if any are reading this) have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate any help we can get.

Oh wow, that song is beautiful! My fiancé and I listened to it and loved it. It made me cry (which really doesn't take much - MasterCard commercials do it).

Wow, I love that song. I don't think my FMIL will make it halfway through the dance though, she'll be crying. She is going to be a wreck that day, I'm sure. How did you find this song? I've never heard it before. Will definately have to make my FH listen to it!

After much research and adding in my favorites, I have updated and added several music suggestions, songs and idea's to my website for wedding dances.
My son and FDIL are getting married in a few months and he and I chose The Hand That Rocks The Cradle by Glen Campbell/Steve Warner. He likes primarily country music and its a great two step song.
