Default Table Cameras

Does any know about the effectiveness of having cameras on the tables? Are the pictures good, a waste of money, do guests use them, etc? I would appreciate any input.

I am getting married in October and I am thinking about using the cameras too. I have been to weddings where the candid pictures taken by the table cameras were the best. You are so busy on your wedding day that things happen that you just aren't able to see. This is a good way of seeing what you've missed. They are usually the funniest pictures too! On the other hand, you need to make sure all the pictures are taken or you will have a lot of left over film that will need to be used. I was looking in a catalog (sorry, too many to remeber which one) and they sell the cameras with table tents and film developing included in the price. That could be a cheaper way to go. Good luck!

That is a good idea for table cameras. I have heard that this is a good way to capture memories from different perspectives. My friends have told me that it might be helpful not to place cameras on every table. Maybe every other table so that film will not be wasted. This is what I plan to do.

You may want to make sure that someone is making sure that kids arent wasting the pictures, my friend had table cameras and an entire roll was spent on one of her bride's maides who had gotten engaged the week before, the woman's young cousin had gotten a hold of it.

Thumbs up Re: Table Cameras

My girl friend recently got married and she had the cameras on the tables and although the developping cost afterwards was a bit expensive it was well worth it they got some really great pictures.

I think the camara idea are a great idea. There's gonna be moments that you're not gonna want to forget and this way a camera is right there. You can't just depend on everyone else who bought ones, by the end of the night you're gonna forget who took what picture you wanted. I was thinking of just buying just the normal ones instead of the wedding ones, this way if film doesn't get used I could still use them elsewhere. Also my aunt didn't put them on the tables, she had a table set up off to the side and lined them up there. And all hers were used, and she put them all in a different ablum and they funny to look out now, even years later.

At my fiance's cousins wedding, they had table cameras. we took pictures of the people who were sitting at our table and we also had to wait close to two hours to eat while they took pictures outside, so all the guests had to wait to eat till they got there. we had been there close to four hours before we left and they hadn't even eaten cake, danced or anything. So we intertained ourselves for a while. i don't remember if we even took any pictures of them but we did leave early and i think there were still pics to be taken?

I just wanted to mention that I seen 6-packs of wedding-themed disposable cameras at Meijer for about $25.

To save on developing cost have the done in the two-day developing instead of the 1-hour. It is a lot cheaper, depending on the place I can save $5 a roll just for waiting two days.
