My mom told me the other day that she knows nothing about a bridal shower being held for me and my hubby to be has also told me the same thing (they asked me I didnt ask them). Now I am thinking that I am not going to have a bridal shower and that kind of upsets me. I threw a shower for my matron of honor when she got married and will gladly do so for my maid of honor when she gets married. My hubby to be keeps asking me why it is such a big deal and I tell him that this is one thing that a bride looks forward to since she has nothing to do with the planning of it. Is anyone else having this or does anyone have any advice?

I would ask my MOH to coffee and then ask her to pick some dates for the shower and the bachlorette party, this may be a good way of letting her know you would like one. Another way would be for your mom to call her and ask what her plans are for the party, and maybe see if your MOH needs some help with the planning process. When I was MOH for one of my friend's her mom called me and helped me plan the whole thing and even let me throw it at her house. It was really nice to have all the help.
