I had a question. I am not sure who pays for the bridesmaids/maid of honor dresses? The Brides family or do the bridesmaid and maid of honor pay for their dresses?

The bridesmaids and maid of honor pay for their own dresses. So be a bit considerate on what everyone's budget would be. I was a bridesmaid for my cousin back when I was 19, so $300 plus tax and shoes was kinda a lot for me to spend. Hope I've helped.

Most times bridesmaids pay for their own, but i am paying for my bridesmaids outfits myself. I think its unfair to expect them to come up with money for a dress when i asked them to participate and not the other way around and then they dont even get to pick the dress. It just a matter of opinion and budget really, just thought i would share my opinion and hope that i helped you out some.

I too agree that bridesmaids should pay for their own dresses however I am only having my maid of honor so I was thinking of paying for her dress since she is financially hard off. But the norm is paying your own dress. I have quite a few! - Have you seen the previews for 27 dresses? Hilarious!
