Ok, so I am kinda freaking out. Probably for nothing, but i am freaking none the less.

I am getting married in May, and I still have not decided what to do about the wedding party clothes. I am going tomorrow night to get started on the groomsmen (yes my honey managerd to round them all up) but I do not know what color I want the vests. The reason for this, I still have no clue what color the MOH, Jr. BM, and FG are agoing to be wearing. The colors of the wedding are a chocolate brown (going to be in the custom drapes at the reception site, and the ring bearer pillow) a light sage green, and accents of pink. I think I will probably have the flower girl in pink, but I am not sure whether to go with the brown or the green for the other girls. I am also not sure if the MOH and the Jr. BM should be in the same color or one in brown and the other in green. I don't want the Jr. BM to be in pink and be thought of as a big flower girl (she is 11, and that would be so uncool) but I am not sure if the MOH should be showcased and in another color. Hopefully i figure this out soon, because Saturday I am driving from Seattle to Portland to meet with the MOH to work on dresses.

Any ideas are very welcome.

A friend of mine just told me that her daughter (in her 20's) was going to be in a wedding with 2 colors. She alternated the maids. You could do that, too.

As I am sure you know it would be much easier to get the guys to wear brown or grean instead of PINK and then do a pink bout. As for the ladies, what about sage green dresses with a pink ribon/sash around the waist and pink and greenery bouquets and then for your flower girl do pink with a chocolate brown ribbon that way everyone is tied together. I dont know. I am in the same boat as you. Just picked out the groomsmens tuxes and had dresses for the MOH and BM but not sure if I like them now (waaaaay too informal and not quite the right colors to match the guys). Go with what you think would work best for you.

I am actually letting my girls pick whatever dress they want just as long as it is the Marine Blue at Davids Bridal, in the Satin fabric and a floor length dress. I love that idea I don't get the but this looks bad on me . . . i don't want that one . . . and normal bickering about the dresses

that's a really good idea kind of a change from the color scheme you had before though but at least you don't have the "cookie cutter bridesmaid"

Thank you to all the ladies for responses. I made a decision (for the most part) and the guys will have sage green vests (groom in champagne to match the color accents of my dress) and we have bought the MOH dress (sage green silk dress). As for the Jr. BM, she will be wearing an age appropriate dress that my mom will be sewing out of a matching sage green fabric, and the flower girl will be wearing either the same sage, or pink (also in a dress sewn by my mom). Thank you for the sounding board. Who knew the silliest decisions could be so hard.
