Default Color Confusion

Steven and I are totally lost when it comes to colors. I've been looking online for a lot of ideas, and we have our colors in mind, but then I can't find that certain color in a vest or the dresses for the bridesmaids. FINALLY, we come to a decision: Powder blue, Platinum, and White. Just to give you an idea, the wedding is outside at a Museum and Gardens location. The reception is also going to take place outside. My idea of the wedding is taking a traditional, formal wedding and placing it outside. Do y'all think those colors coordinate together, and if not...HELP!!! Please..

Thanks so much!!

Hi, I have a bit of expierence with color and it sounds like you have come up with a good scheme. I have a degree in design and my mom is a florist. If you do powder blue or even Tiffany blue maybe platinum sash or silver acessories(shoes, jewelry). But make sure that you do contrasting flowers like shades of white roses would be beautiful- like a few dozen tied together in a bunch. - don't do alot of green leaves in the flowers that might clash with the platnum. And please do not do "Blue" dyed flowers to match. Whoever heard of blue flowers? Congradulations and Good Luck!

I've been to a lot of weddings where the couple goes nuts with their colors. Remember that it's okay to mix in some different shades of your blue and to maybe even throw in a bright color would be nice. A little splash of fuschia or purple in your centerpieces or other decorations might make a summer wedding pretty and bright. You don't have to be a slave to your color scheme, just make sure everything coordinates!

Good luck!
