Destination Wedding???
So, we have JUST decided to do this....its his dream. I've been married before so I definitely want him to have the wedding of HIS dreams, even though he's not the overly vocal type about too many details. He is definitely letting me know what he likes and dislikes though. So for now, I'm just hoping to find someone who is planning this and has gotten into some of the details and red tape.
We'll be doing it in Mexico....either Playa del Carmen (where my sister just had a GORGEOUS ceremony) or Tulum, near Cancun. My only stipulation is that it not be any place too touristy or crowded. We've narrowed down a couple of resorts but no decision yet.
Can anyone offer some advice? What type of red tape are we in for? I've heard so many things about the legal issues of getting married in Mexico....anyone? I'm doing my own research and have found a few sites, but would really like to hear it from someone who is planning a destination wedding right now.
