I am getting married August 1, 2008. I found these beautiful bridesmaid dresses in a "pool" color, which is about the same color as Aqua is. I am having trouble with some accent colors to this and with possible centerpieces, flowers, etc. If anybody has any ideas or websites, I would be oh so grateful! Thanks!

Daisies would be a cute flower to have with those colors. Then maybe you could include some yellow in with your centerpieces. For the centerpieces at our wedding we are using a vase that is very skinny and opens wider at the top. Its about 7 inches tall. We got some clear adheasive and (Fake) crystals with glitter. We are going to roll the top of the vase so it has the glitter and crystals around the top. We got some of that gel that you can make different colors to fill the vase and then we are going to use the candles that flicker without a flame and sit them down inside on top of the gel. (we aren't allowed to have an open flame in the reception hall.) Then we are going to put flower petals around the bottom of it. And that is all I have come up with so far. I have no idea even what flowers to go with for myself. We are having Pink and Brown as our colors so if you have any ideas that would be great!

The first flower that came to my mind was a white hydrangea. I think that would be gorgeous with the pool color. Consult a florist if you are unsure. I didn't have a clue what flowers to use, but my florist had some wonderful suggestions.Happy Planning! 6 weeks till Mrs. Kleine |

If you would like to move away from flowers and do a more "minimalistic" centrepiece you could take a very tall round glass vase and fill it with about 6 champagne glasses (the champagne glases will lie at various angles). Then pour coloured aqua water into the vases. It looks great and will give that whole crystal aqua look that you are looking for
