Our wedding is August 9, 2008 and for my colors I am leaning toward Pink and Brown. Anyone have any comments or advice on using these colors?

I love Pink and brown together. But I'm also partial to those color combos half my wardrobe and even my shoes are pink and brown. But I think they're really great colors. I would do pink dress and use the brown as an accent.

Pink and Brown are absolutely fabulous together. The great thing about pink is that depending on what shade you use, you can create totally different environments for your wedding.

For instance, a bright fuchisa pink with chocolate is very hip and modern. However a chocolate paired with with a pale pink evokes glamour, elegance - think old Hollywood.

Also, you can do combinations of the shades of pink to create different feelings - use light pink for your ceremony and step things up a bit for your reception with a bright pink.

They are absolutely amazing together and with designers finally have created a variety of chocolate tuxes available for purchase and rental. After Six makes a very modern yet comfortable style - I think it is call LaStrada.

Also, if you like the idea of brown and pink - try a champagne colored dress next to the chocolate tuxes with pink bridesmaid gowns. I think you will be pleased at how elegant it looks.

When I first heard of pink and brown, I was a little skeptical about how it'd look, but I've seen several pictures of pink/chocolate brown weddings and they really seem to go well together!
