Hi all! I am new to the brides forum and need help with my wedding colors. I am getting married June 7, 2008 and it is going to be a night wedding, so.. kind of formal. I was thinking of having a burgundy and champagne color for the bridesmaid dresses but am wondering if it is too dark for spring?
Any help would be more than appreciated! |

Since it is a night wedding, I think your color choice is beautiful. I would however focus more on the champagne color in the decorations since it is a spring wedding. Burgandy is a very rich color, but I feel it is perfect anytime of year. That's just my opinion. I had a winter wedding and that was my color. I would have used it no matter when I got married though. I had burgandy with white & silver.

We think you'll be extremely happy with these colors, especially after you see your photos. These colors have great contrast, and while many have chosen burgundy for fall, this color is becoming more popular for other months. If you're having difficulty finding wedding accessories or keepsakes, we recommend choosing a flower that matches your colors (like the cherry blossom or calla lily) as part of your theme to help making your planning easier.
