Default what color and where?

I have changed my mind about colors so much, I am now confused about my bridesmaid's dress. Origionally I was going to have brown, and sage green with accents of pink, then it was pink and brown (no more green) then it was changed to light pink and black (mostly pink though) now I have changed the idea of my dress color and will have ivory with a chanpagne sash, the flowers will be light cream and pink. I am having a hard time finding a dress I like for the BM (I want a knee length summery dress) in pink or chanpagne. Should I go back to having the BM in sage green, and leave the pink in just the flowers?

I know my wedding colors were very much determined by the bridesmaid dresses. I think those are most important in my opinion. So I would go with the bridesmaid dress that you like in sage green with accents of pink. It will be beautiful! I love the combination of pink & green! The bouquets will be gorgeous with the dresses as well!

Sounds like you are building some flexibility into your colors, and that's not a bad thing. We recommend taking into consideration your other colors, from your dress as well as the groomsmen, because you'll want to ensure that you have a lot of contrast in your photos. Lighter colors may not be flattering for everyone, but neither are all dark fabrics.

Do you know what kind of a theme you want to build into your wedding colors? For example, if you want to go with roses, you could easily tie that back into your colors and add some contrast. For some examples of how roses might complement your theme, we have some flower girl baskets with roses, that could help give you some ideas.

I am with you on the color confusion. I am so confused about mine. But I think that the sage green and pink would be great together. And who cares if the brides maids don't like green or pink, it is your wedding. I think the pink and green will be a great contrast and give a summery fun feel to your wedding.

What helped me the most was getting onto the Alfred angelo site and ordering their swatch cards. They have TONS of colors on one swatch card. It may give you an idea of what you want by playing around with combinations. Just an idea. I had trouble coming up with colors, too, so I feel your pain. I've started buying things now, though, so there's no changing my mind anymore;-) Good luck with your planning!

I am also having pink, black, and white for my wedding colors. I found some really cute, knee length summery dresses (in pink) at David's Bridal. I have not seen them in person yet, just on their site. Take a look at these ones.
