A friend of mine got married a year and a half ago in october, she had a very simpl wedding and used fall colors of oranges, reds and yellows. They were very nice. i though am a 7-7-07 bride , my colors are lavener and a mint green with purple accents, so to each their color and season and i am sure you will find the perfect color scheme. maybe try going to a fabric store and pick different colors and see how well they work toether, that was how we finally choose the shades for the dresses since mil is making the dresses!!
