Default I have no idea!

I am getting married in May of next year and I have no idea what to do with decorations/favors/flowers. I am so lost. I can't do anything to fancy because I'm on a budget. Is there anything anyone can think of to help me out?!?! Thanks!

You have to decide what you like and then devlop a theme from there. I am using candles. I'm also on a budget. But I love candles and candlelight. So I have purchases these great candle holders I found at a christmas store. They are tall vases that hold six tea lights. I may add more candles such as votive to the tables. But all for about 2 to three hundred depending on how many candles I use. Flowers are more expensive. If you find Votives on sale then your guest can take them home as favors. Coaster are another nice favor and don't cost much. But shop around.

I am in your same shoes. I am also getting married in May and have no plans. If you want to get married outside you can choose a park it means minimal flowers to buy and most cost little to nothing to use. Also, I am opting paper lanterns to use for decoration and lighting. I found some on sale at Romancing the stone for $1 a piece. If you use white ones it makes it look elegant instead of cheesy. They work really well for an evening wedding too. I am also making my own invites. There some great sites to buy recycled paper and card stock in bulk, to make your invites eco-friendly with a vintage look. Ill let you know if I figure anything else out. Keep me updated on any ideas.

Hey...Im getting married this may and i am doing everything..honeymoon and all for 3000.00
some tips:
fake flowers. do the same flower in the same color in bunches to keep it from looking cheap.
cheat the kissing ball: take the smallest styrofoam ball ever and hot glue fake flowers all over on side only. (stick em in there) then put it ontop of a globe filled with water with food coloring in it. THIS IS MY FAVORITE THING EVER!
candles are cheaper than flowers
ac moore sells votives and globes cheap...cheap.
walmart has tall vases for 2 dollars
buy real flowers the day of from sams and wrap the stem yourself with satin ribbon.
twinkle lights are your friend.
no one cares about the favor but you.
10 double layer cakes from the amish market 100.00
when talking about food, find boxes, ect...to add visual interst with differnet heights. you can cover them with another cloth...if necessary ...buy sheets and hem the edges.
invitations ...im still working on that.

um....sorry im fried...good luck and God bless
