''How to cope with fiancee about to go basic training''

My future husband is going to basic training and there is a possibilty that we might have to go the justice of peace to get married but here's the thing neither one of our folks know that we're getting married except for my God mother which will be the witness. Ok here's the situation I still want to have my special day in front of all of our love ones.

Do I go through with the Justice of Peace and still have a wedding even if my wedding date got to change?

Or

Do I wait until my wedding date which is next year to get married?

I need someones advise as soon as possible!!!!!!!!!

When my brother got married, they got married at the JP with my dad as a witness. They had a ceremony and wedding and all that 2 months later (most ppl didn't even know that they were married before then). I would say that if you know you are going to get married, it would probably be better for you to be married before he goes to basic. The military can be a pain if you are trying to get any info if you are not married.

i would say get married now by JOP and still plan your big wedding..
