Default Color reassurance

OK, so my wedding is in about two and half months. August 16th, 2008. I have almost everything planned but I need an outsiders opinion. I mean everything is pretty much set but I just want to make sure I am not putting together something tacky. LOL... what I want is romantic.

The best way to describe my dress is that it is a princess dress. It is ivory (looks white to me) with a lot of sparkle. It is poofy! I love it! My viel is cathederal length that I will wear for the ceremony and take it off for the reception.

The bridesmaids are wearing floor length champange colored gowns by alfredo angelo. They have a little train on the back that opens up and underneath that will be ivory. (Which matches my dress) It is lovely! I would totally wear that dress.

My bouquet is going to be deep pink with some sparkle in it. Not much just a little. And then the stems are going to be wrapped in a sage green ribbon. The bridesmaids bouquets will be deep and medium pink roses with also a sage green ribbon.

My groom is wearing a black tux with a black vest and deep pink tie to match the flowers. And an ivory shirt. The groomsmen are wearing a pink tie and pink vest. (Same color as the groom.) Boutineers will be ivory roses.

The ceremony will take place at 5 in an old historic church. It is so pretty!

Then the recepetion tables will have an ivory table cloth with a sage green runner. And then there will be a vase with deep pink/medium pink roses and ivory roses in it. We are also having some other flowers in there. Not sure how to describe it but it is keeping with the pink/green/ivory colors. The cake will also have those color flowers on the top. The recpetion is going to take place at a golf course which is near the church.

The favors are the valentines day m&m's. Just the two shades of pink in an ivory bag with a pink ribbon. The invitations are on ivory paper with a hint of pink paper sticking out behind it. I would have to post a picture. But I did those myself. I really like how they turned out.

Also the flower girl is wearing a white dress with a pink flower and green sash. And the ring bear will be in a black tux with a pink tie. The flower girl basket and pillow are ivory.

Does this sound to much or that it doesn't go together? I guess I just need some reassurance. My mom and bridesmaids like it. So does my FMIL but I just wanted some other opinions.

Thanks for reading my babble!

I think your colors are going to be very lovely together. I really like pink and green ~ they go well with eachother. Some may argue that you should stick to only 3 colors, and you have 4 if you include the champagne dresses. But champagne is almost like a very very light shade of pink, so it will work in quite nicely, I think. Just relax an denjoy your day, chickie. You chose beautiful colors and your wedding is going to be unforgettable. Keep us updated after your big day!

It sounds like everything will go together perfectly. I am also having pink as my wedding color. I am just worried that I might go overboard with pink, but it sounds like you have a nice distribution of the pink and green. Just sit back, relax (if possible) and you will have a gorgeous wedding. I like the pink m & ms, I might have to steal that idea

I am worried about going over board with the pink too. Most of the pink is just in the accents. Like on the invitations it is just a back ground color and the RSVP enevlope. And then the flowers will be pink. Anyway... my mom actually bought all the pink m&m's at valentines. So, I have had them for a while but they should be just fine! Thanks ladies!
