My mother has been acting different towards me ever since i first started seeing my now fiancee. She told me a long time ago that when i was ready to get married, to let her know, and she was going to remortgage her house to pay for my dream wedding. But i get the feeling that she is not to fond of my fiancee, even though he is the most honest, and loving guy i have ever been with. He treats me better than any other person i ahve dated, he tells me he loves me a million times a day, and tells me he would do anything for me, even die for me. He has had conversations with my mother telling her this, and has tried to get her to like him, but i dont know if she has changed her view towards him. I dont talk to my mother that often because she works nights, and we live two hours away from each other. I am getting ready to tell my mom that me and my fiancee have set our wedding date, but i have a feeling that she wont help pay for the wedding because i dont feel she likes my fiancee. I need to sit down and have a talk with her, and tell her about the wedding date, and to find out if she will help pay. I was just wondering if there are any other soon to be brides going through the same situation, or a similar situation, and let me know how they are dealing with things.
